Zero Waste Program in the Community

The Zero Waste program aims to prevent and reduce the amount of waste entering landfills by showing how easy it can be to recycle and compost items that might otherwise be thrown away and through the 6 R’s:  Rethink, Refuse, Repair, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Composting

We offer a variety of educational programs and outreach including:

  • Recycling presentations to groups in the community
  • Composting Workshops
  • Zero Waste events
  • Booths at community events
